Shapeabilities Pendant Fleur De Li's

White on Gold...

This is the new line of Shapeabilities by Spellbinders this one is Fleur De Li's so good I cut it out twice and used the tan mat to emboss it.
The base card is 14 x 14cm then I matted and layered with the gold and white card graduating the sizes. I then built up the die shapes with foam pads to make the shape pop.

A close up view of the pendant.

Attention to detail; the corners are made up with some of the cut out shapes that fall out of the pendant after die cutting and a flat backed gold gem.

Sympathy Thank You Cards

I made a few Thank You's for my Aunt to give out to those that helped in the care and those that have been kind whilst Uncle Billy was still with us, also a few to go out for the arrangements of the funeral.
I kept them simple by using the Flourish sympathy stamp by Papertrey Ink and wording from Everyday Blessings Papertrey Ink, I used the Nestabilities Label Four for the matting of the words, the insert was printed with the wording Heartfelt Thanks.

I thought the simple wording was quite apt.

Flippin' Christmas - Coming Soon

I just can't begin to tell you how excited I am to be releasing the new Flippin' Christmas Range of decoupage, not only do you get a decoupage sheet but you also get a FREE! yes I did say FREE! backing sheet.

Now when I say backing sheet I it has to be said tongue in cheek because quite honestly this is a piece of art in itself the attention to detail is amazing and as an extra bonus you get a verse too.

Methinks we at La Pashe are just spoiling you.

Below is one of the background sheets I thought I'd let you have a peek.

There are 4 new designs that will be released next week

Flippin' Christmas will be in craft shops next week, to find a stockist visit La Pashe

This is the Flippin'Christmas Peace

One of our Office Staff; Michael Reay asked if he could make up one of the cards, seeing as Michael has never made a card before I was intrigued to see how he would get on.

I think he did fabulous and it just goes to show that even the newest crafter can make a stunning card with our range.

Nestabilities Penguin

Get out those Nestabilities girls and give these a whirl, or better still see what animal you can make, we've had the owls, this time it is penguins, made with Nestabilities ovals, quite a nice little stocking filler.

Another variation of the penguin made with the smaller ovals

Punched Owl Notebook

Owl notebooks made with Stampin Up punches.
My friend Toni made a couple of these little beauties and brought them along to our weekend away, of course she made them for Peejay who collects owls and from the minute I saw them I loved them so here is my version of them.
I bought the notebook and covered it in a brown card then added papers and ribbon.
Tools used
Stampin Up; Punches Round Tab & Scallop Oval. (head, wings and belly)
Nesabilities; Round Scallop (body)
Circle Punches; 3/4" and 1/2" (eyes)
5 petal flower punch (feet & beak)

So after making one there was no stopping me and I found these sleepy looking goggle eyes and they work perfectly.

Sympathy Card

One of the cards that we all dread having to make but the sentiment (PTI Stamp) on this made the card a little easier to put together.
It was made for my dear Uncle's Billie's wife Elaine, he lost his battle against cancer on Friday morning. We are taking comfort in the fact that he is now out of his pain.

Porcelain Bouquet

I love the clean look of this card, I used the Rubberstamp Tapestry Porcelain Bouquet stamp set, the inks used are Color Cubes Indigo and Lavender.
The cut out shapes were made using the Nestabilities Label Dies.
Again I ran around the shapes with an embossing tool after they had been cut to emboss the edges.
The ribbon was another story, I had no matching ribbon, so, I used white sheer ribbon and stained it with the indigo Color Cube Tra-dA a perfect match.

You can see in this picture that the center label shape is attached to the navy insert, you can also see that the vase has been cut out and attached with foam pads to give a 3d effect.

Golden Tree

Made using the Nestabilities Labels dies I love the way these nest together and also allow an embossed edge, once I've cut the shape I leave it in the die and just run around the edge with an embossing tool, much easier than searching for the tan mat.
the paper is a K&Co which I've had in my stash forever I used stickles diamond to bling the paper up and a Martha Stewart Border punch on the bottom of the paper.
The stamp I used is from the Father Knows Best stamp set from Papertrey Ink, heat embossed this with gold powder.

Flippin' Teenagers - Pop Punk

The perfect card for the modern teenage girl.
very Avril Lavigne and a skater girl look, from her striped socks to her fur hooded coat.
I used a Basic Grey scrapbook Paper to compliment the colours and a few velvet flowers.

The back of this one is fabulous the hood really pops out,

I also think that this one looks like most modern teenage girls.

An Elegant Handbag Card

An elegant handbag card, I started with a pink base card a few score lines later I had a basic handbag shape. I then cut out the largest of the QuicKutz Cookie cutter Nesting Label and adhered it to the front of the card.
I used the Flourish Stamp from the Silent Night set by Papertrey Ink I used it with pink ink onto the white flap of the handbag and with white embossing powder onto the pink base card.
I used one of those special buttons I found in the knitting shop slotted a ribbon through the back of it then tied a bow at the back.
If I get enough interest in the handbag I will do a tutorial.

Attention to detail the flowers were white, I painted on the colour using the same pink ink that I had used to stamp the flourish with.

An aerial shot of the handbag.

QuicKutz Nesting Label card

Cuttlebugged card using the distressed stripes A2 folder on the base card some pretty papers down the side edged with Martha Stewart border Punches, shapes are die cut using the QuicKutz Cookie Cutter Nesting Labels (not quite Nestabilities).
The Floral stamp is a Penny Black stamp heat embossed with white detail powder, all wrapped together with a pretty ribbon and a few pearls.

So this is the shapes I used QuickKutz Cookie Cutter Nesting Label

Priced around the £16.99 mark and works in the cuttlebug.
